CosaTron is NOT a filter. It is NOT an ionizer. It produces NO ozone, electro-magnetic or radio frequency interference as it cleans the air. CosaTron is a unique contamination control system that uses complex electrical fields to creating a particulate excitation field within the plenum that causes rapid particle collisions, thus creating larger particles more easily controlled by the existing air handler and able to be captured by standard particulate filters. CosaTron increases the interaction of particulate, gaseous, and liquid contaminants, increasing adsorption, and absorption. CosaTron decreases contaminant deposition and particle counts and reduces the need for large amounts of outside ventilation air per ASHRAE 62.
